Registration fee

(The fee includes 21 % VAT.)
Congress documentation, Welcome party, Conference dinner, light lunches, and coffee breaks are included in the registration fee. Authors pay the same registration fee as participants without a contribution.
At least one of the authors must register before 1 April 2025 in order to receive an invoice for payment of the registration fee. This invoice must be paid in time, otherwise the paper(s) will not be included in the programme.
Please note that submitting a paper does not automatically imply registration.
Registration and Payment forms
As a first step, you can register. Please note that registration and payment of the conference fee are two separate processes.
Payment information: for payment by invoice, please provide VAT and address in the form. The invoice will be sent to your email within a few days. In case of payment by card, we will send you a link with an access password. The form also includes questions about the conference organization (diet, etc.).
Abstract submission & Information for authors
Abstract template and submission process
Abstracts are required for all oral presentations and posters. The abstract template can be downloaded here. The abstract has to be maximum 1 page A4 long. Please use the formatting guidelines (Times New Roman font, single line spacing, for details see the template). The deadline was postponed to 25. 2. 2025. Registration for lectures is closed. However, poster presentations can still be accepted.
Please name the document according to the following scheme: BD_Surname_Name_form. Please use the appropriate form (poster) and send the abstract in Word format to the email: contactBD2025@vscht.cz. Each registered participant can submit only one abstract as a lecture.
The Scientific Committee will review and evaluate the abstracts. Notification of acceptance will be sent to all authors. For accepted abstracts, the Scientific Committee will decide the type of the presentation, taking into account the preferred presentation type chosen by the abstract submitter. The Organizers reserve the right to exclude any abstract that is not followed by a participant registration.
Oral and poster presention
The plenary lecture is scheduled to last 40 minutes and the discussion afterwards for 10 minutes. The keynote lecture is scheduled for 20 minutes and the discussion afterwards for 10 minutes. The normal lecture is scheduled for 15 minutes and the discussion for 5 minutes.
The size of the poster board is 130 cm (height) by 96 cm (width) portrait (for A0 poster). Presenters will label their posters with a heading that includes the title (in letters at least 4 cm high) and the name(s) of the author(s), affiliation, city and country (in letters at least 2 cm high).
CONGRESS AWARDS
Best Young Scientist competition. We are pleased to announce the competition for the best student prezentation at BD 2025. This is your opportunity to present your research, share your findings and compete for recognition. The competition is open to all students attending the congress and aims to highlight outstanding submissions. The Faculty of Chemical Engineering (part of UCT, Prague) will support PhD student Award. Colloids and Interfaces journal is pleased to sponsor the Early Career Researcher (Ph.D.) Award.
Conference Special Issue
We offer to registered participants publication of their contributions as a full paper in a Special Issue in Colloids and Interfaces (IF 2.5). Link to the website here. A 10% discount is available for all conference participants.
Cancellation terms
BD2025 will provide a full refund of registration fees, less an administrative processing fee of 50 EUR incl. VAT, for any cancellations received in writing on or before April 1, 2025. Cancellations should be directed to contactBD2025@vscht.cz . Telephone cancellations are not accepted for refunds. Participant must obtain a confirmation before the cancellation deadline. All refunds will be processed to the original form of payment. After April 1, 2025, there will be no refunds for registrations cancelled whatsoever. Substitutions can be made, without a fee, by contacting the registration team.
Payment & VAT Terms
Payment is possible by credit card or invoice (bank transfer). Upon completion of the registration, an automated email confirmation will be sent. Depending on the payment method, the invoice or credit card receipt will be attached.
Sharing of contact details and photos
The BD2025 Organiser will collect and store all personal data through the online registration system, and data will be treated by organisers only for organisational purposes, particularly for matters in relation to registration, certification, as well as information about the conference.
Please note that photos will be captured during the conference for use on the BD2025 website. If you identify yourself in a specific picture after the conference and you do not wish it to appear on the website, please contact the organizers and we will delete the picture or recording.
